The road up this pass looked really amazing from down below. High up on the cliff above I noticed a wonderful stone built bridge virtually hanging on the edge of the cliff. While heading down one short straight sectionof the pass I encountered a massive section of packed ice on my side of the road and just before a blind left curve. I had to make a decision, do I take the chance and go down the wrong side of the road and just hope nothing comes around that blind curve or do I go over the packed ice??
