It takes my maximal determination to get up at 6:30 and take a ride to the gompa. I get there by time - seven - and then it proved that the morning pray is at 8! Well, at least I have sometime to take pictures of the local dawn and the young monks coming down from the monastery to the praying hall. ... After breakfast of chapatis and jam we waited for the bus (that comes sometime between 8 and 9:30. It picked us up at 9:20 and we drove safely and slowly back to Leh. We made it! After returning it was Lisa's turn to feel ill, so she is presently resting at the Indus guesthouse. Tomorrow we leave for Delhi (business class!) and then we start HOME ON MONDAY!!!
