Woke up and managed to FaceTime mum and dad and tell them all about what was happening over here. It was a beautiful day today and we weren't feeling like doing too much so we sat in the garden most of the day enjoying the sun and chatting away. Then about 4pm mike came over and picked us up and we went to the supermarket and bought food and alcohol. Then we went ...

A quick trip up to Hamburg to catch the overnight train to Villach. It was exciting for all to see the car being put on the train and the excitement continued as we went to find the cabin. However, that's where the excitement ended! At the first stop we were joined by a German biker in the cabin, which changed the dynamic somewhat. And suddenly from lording it in our own cabin we had to face ...

... Hamburg's staircase district, Treppenviertel. The bus tour took me along Elber River and was very comfortable and informative. I caught a taxi to the port, landing piers bus stop 1-2 where I met the rest of the tour group to start the day. After the tour I decided to catch a train to the Autostadt which is a car museum. The ZeitHaus museum in Wolfsburg‘s Autostadt is the most frequently visited car museum in the world. It ...
