    ... screaming, "I'm the aerialist, the one swinging at the top of this silk and I love it! Love my job, love my life, love, love, hippie talk, peace, love, love. It's my dream! My dream accomplished; finally I can stop wistfully staring at the rows and rows of circus DVDs I've accumulated since the age of ten..." except that the words actually being vocalised are, "Oh, I'm part of the ensemble, I do this and that."

    ... thanks to Annette, and we all really enjoyed the show.

    There were clowns of course (we couldn't understand them but I’m sure what they said was funny), amazing trapeze artists, a roller-skating act that took me back to my childhood, a guy who could do some truly jaw-dropping juggling with soccer balls, a love story on a square of parallel bars between three guys and a girl, again taking me back to my younger years, a couple of strong men wearing jocks ...

    ... sure if it was Hamburg or not as there wasn’t anything written in English) looked prior to, during and after WWII. Quite an impact on the senses to see the devastation caused by the war, very sad. It is hard to imagine how anyone survived, let alone rebuilt the towns and cities.

    And the last section was the hugest miniature world I have seen, there was so much to see that ot was impossible to take it all in. My favourite sections were the airport where we saw ...

    Next stop was a great pizzeria (keeping with our Italian eating theme) that is a favourite of Mali’s where we all enjoyed a lovely, relaxed dinner. After we had eaten we were joined by Holgar in time for a coffee, so it was great to finally have met both of Mali’s parents.

    ... generous helpings of mayonnaise. It was so ******n delicious, I love this country. After dinner we went and found our pub crawl. It's all a bit of a haze so I'll tell you who and what I remember. First we went to about four different bars, at each one where we all got a free shot and cheap drinks and free entry. The first bar was one where literally everything was 99 cents, from beers to shots. I had a lot of tequila almost everywhere. Along the way we made friends with three ...
