Today was another long day of traveling during which we traveled through three different countries: France, Belgium and Holland!

... followed by the rabbit with prunes cooked Flemish-style in local Bruges beer, with Belgian frites cooked in duck fat and served with home-made mayonnaise. It was all cooked to perfection, the rabbit (which tastes like chicken) was tender and rich. Frites (fries) aren’t one of my vices, but they were certainly very good. A very satisfactory end to a long day. Bed beckons.

To board our flight for Munich,
we were taken by bus into the middle of the runway - giving way to Jumbos and
other air craft, as you do, to reach our plane.
It was rather cold (-50 C) given that we didn't have any
