... with just enough time to head up to the 10th story panoramic viewing roof of the MAS museum.  the displays looked interesting but not this time. By 12:30 we were back on board and ready to spend the afternoon cruising out of the port, through several locks heading to our first stop in the Netherlands at Willemstad. It was a very pleasant afternoon sitting in the sunshine at the back of the ship out of the wind watching the port of Antwerp and the river banks flow by. After the ...

... easy enough, with the city being quite compact and walkable. Made a mental note to try some beer while here, as every building seems to have a shop that sells it. ... at the playground. My favorite part was when Sage instigated a game of chase with Daddy and Bryn. After running all over the park, Bryn appeared at my side shouting, "Mommy, there's an evil guy coming! His name is Daddy!"

Overall, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the “kid friendly” aspect of the things we did today, but as far as Bryn and Sage were concerned they beat the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. ...

... basically just falafel in a burger bun) were nice enough and we managed to get some of our favourite Whole Earth drinks, everything was massively overpriced, the service verging on rude and the cafe seemed pretentiously obsessed with celebrities (they had several walls with photos of their famous visitors, with Moby taking pride of place and then being mentioned in the menu more than once).

Overall, though, Antwerp was well worth stopping off in for a few hours!
