    ... followed by the rabbit with prunes cooked Flemish-style in local Bruges beer, with Belgian frites cooked in duck fat and served with home-made mayonnaise. It was all cooked to perfection, the rabbit (which tastes like chicken) was tender and rich. Frites (fries) aren’t one of my vices, but they were certainly very good. A very satisfactory end to a long day. Bed beckons.

    ... now know that I really enjoy a dark beer, hence I ordered one! We had made friends with a guy traveling solo from Melbourne and we ventured off to grab some food to try and sober up before heading to try the world’s best beer.
