... it. There is a special way you’re meant to pour cider in Asturias. You tilt the glass, like you do when you’re pouring beer, and you hold the glass as low as possible, and hold the bottle of cider as high as possible (way over your head!), then you pour the cider from the bottle to the glass to make it a bit fizzy. ... 8221; (for want of a
better word) a rather awkard night with the swell rolling in ever so
gently which reminded us of Alderney and Dale (Pembrokeshire) where
we would roll and come to an abrupt halt with a squeak of the ropes
and the rub of the fenders against the pontoon (except in Alderney
where there was no pontoon just an abrupt halt). At least we got a
decent sail in the day before and did not have to pay for the berth.

Found our way out way easier than our way in. Planned to drive the seaside route all the way to Luarca. Almost did but gave up for the last little bit and succumbed to the ease of the new motorway. Today I'm in Bodenaya after a short walk from Salas. Needed to give my feet a rest. More difficult walk than previous camino. So far have had some very stiff climbs, today 420m up, but think it will be easier for a bit after this. Weather has been mixed but mostly good, sometimes cloudy and cool, which is comfortable for walking. Scenery is great.

... Today was steep climb to top. Felt really good. Had Bob Hilary to keep me company (music) Above the clouds which was fantastic to look down on. Then down again and into the cloud. Looking down on a flooded valley. Wow! Steep decent to bottom and over the barrage or dam. Beautiful valley. 1k to fab hotel / bar and had pulpo salad and three small beers. Then had to have a sleep!
