Today after Spanish class we went to the Main Market in Cuernavaca. We talked to three business owners there who sell items in the market 363 days a year. The only day they are closed is Christmas and New Years Day. Until recently the Market was the chief supply point for most of the population, however with the introduction of Mega Stores, Superama (owned and operated by Walmart), and Walmart the Main Market has seen a down turn in business.
