After dinner we stopped briefly in the piazza in front of the Duomo where we were pulled by the sound familiar to strictly come dancing fans as being a Latin dance. Ragusa, like much of this part of Sicily, was destroyed by an earthquake in 1693 and most of the major churches and palazzos were built in the Baroque style.
