    ... my quota for the day, I practiced restraint. Haven't done that for some time. I think that breakfast will be good in the morning if with glowing reports on TripAdvisor are correct.

    We are now back in the room. Annette is cleaning up her mess from this afternoon. Her pannier bags were emptied on our arrival and cover half the floor of the room. I am just about to finish the blog, ignore and mess and go to sleep.

    ... about 32kg in addition to my bulk, the front wheel started to wobble. Hand on the back brake, put the bum back as far as I could on the seat and pushed my legs against the top bar to help stability, I managed to catch up with a stationary Annette who proudly told me of her feat.

    ... on the wall beside the track and a bronze statue of Senna. There were flowers on the fence to commemorate the anniversary of his death on 1st May. We then returned to our grandstand to watch some more free practice and the Superstock 600 race. By the way, Jake Lewis started 21st on the grid and finished 19th. Well done Jake! We rode the 2km in to the town square for dinner before heading back to the B&B.

    On Friday, we traveled by train and walked in the rain.

    Even precipitation is lovely in Italy.

    At the train station, I discovered a vending machine that provided espresso in a tiny plastic cup. It was perfect. Espresso this good shouldn't come from vending machines. Frankly, espresso of any kind shouldn't come from vending machines. Heaven, I'm sure, will be lined ...

    ... flooring had been mostly stripped away and what they were able to preserve were put on display. The art work is amazing! It's definitely not the splashy colours you would see in more modern paintings but the details of some of the designs in simple black and white is simply amazing!
