... on Crete. It's a brief reprieve to what's coming. What stands between us and the sea is a 12%25 grade of maybe 30 switchbacks that wind their way all the way to, ***** ass Fackeon. It's a view to die for and if you're not careful you might. The Cretans are known for their rebelliousness and "don't give a ****" attitude. And we've hit the end of tourist season so it feels that way. There are beaches and restaurants and water taxis and bakeries but if ...

We did a tour of the Palace of Knossos where the Monoan Civilization thrived in the Bronze age (roughly 3,000 BC) within the Aegean. The palace was ...

... there was a mosquito biting him, so we lay there with the light on for a while to see if we can kill it. I see it fly out from the backs of our heads and then that was it, we couldn’t find it. So we turn the light off and rug up in our sheets so that it doesn’t bite us in our sleep. Not long after we turn it on again as I hear it buzzing around my ear and now I can’t sleep. We can’t find it again! What a sneaky sucker, so we turn off the light and hope for the best. ...
