In Khajuraho the main (and only) attractions are the temples, and there is very little else to see in town other than be harassed by many touts (in fact the ratio of touts/ rickshaw drivers was highly disproportionate to the few tourists we saw!). khajuraho - wer die lange, beschwerliche fahrt nach khajuraho hinter sich gebracht hat, wird belohnt! hier stehen die schönsten tempel, die wir bisher im norden indiens gesehen haben. in einer wunderschön gepflegten anlage, mit bougainvilleas, alten bäumen und rasen liegen verstreut tempelbauten, die alle 1000 jahre alt sind. sie wurden von einem englischen officer wiederentdeckt. hier ist kein fleckchen stein ...

... prenocovali jsme se potkali s dalsimi cestovateli z Uruguaye, Kolumbie, Nemecka a Argentiny a vyrazili na spolecnou veceri. Nasli jsme vybornou restauraci a vyzkouseli tak mistni Thali – talir ryze a nekolik odlisnych macek se zeleninou a samozrejme chapatti chleba.
