      ... bought some bread ( by the kilo), tomatoes ( dried and fresh), some ham and fresh fruit and after more wandering found somewhere to make our lunch.
      For obvious reasons there is not a lot of green space, virtually no parks, and the idea of seating for tired tourists is unheard of.       ... I had hoped for and more? Definitely yes. It was so amazing to finally see it with my own eyes after wishing for it for so many years. We docked and headed through the square for our date with the Italian Restaurant for a scrumptious 4 course meal! Yum!!! With bellies full we were given free time to stroll around and Kate and I made the most of it. I couldn't quite believe I was in Venice. What a magical way to celebrate my 36th Birthday.
