... all realised that we were totally sunburned - cue soothing aloe vera gel. Dan and I have decided to invest in some higher factor sun cream for when we go to Perhentian and Redang Islands in a couple of weeks time, there is nothing like sunburn for spoiling a tropical island holiday!

... boat (3h :s) up to the Mutiara Resort and take the bus back (its faster and one Jetty experience of 3h is quite enough... ;))... And then... drive another 5 hours I guess to get to Cameron Highlands...

I will not update while I'm in Taman Negara, simply because they don't have internet... How bad, but that's just what it is. You'll be able to read my stories once Im at Cameron Highlands... ...

While it is still daylight, I pass an outside place with tables set up and a food stall. I ask the man about food. He calls a boy over that speaks some English, but not much.

"Food?", I ask.
"No rice", he says.
"Noodles?", I ask.
He looks puzzled.
"No cook," he says.

Now, I understand. He is saying they are closed for the day and not cooking anymore. I smile and thank the boy and head down the street.

After Penang we headed to Malacca on another long bus journey (with only one toilet stop). We found our Hostel without any issue. From the outside it was just a tiny, tatty looking door in the wall between two shops but inside it was nice enough. The owners were also really nice and gave us a map and ideas of what to do while we were here. There's not a lot to do but it was enjoyable to see the night market and walk around the ...

We arrive Kota, I quickly scout and get us tickets for that night to Penang. We catch a taxi to a different bus station, grab some dinner and board the big comfy bus and we are away, 10pm.
