... boat (3h :s) up to the Mutiara Resort and take the bus back (its faster and one Jetty experience of 3h is quite enough... ;))... And then... drive another 5 hours I guess to get to Cameron Highlands...
I will not update while I'm in Taman Negara, simply because they don't have internet... How bad, but that's just what it is. You'll be able to read my stories once Im at Cameron Highlands... ...
While it is still daylight, I pass an outside place with tables set up and a food stall. I ask the man about food. He calls a boy over that speaks some English, but not much.
"Food?", I ask.
"No rice", he says.
"Noodles?", I ask.
He looks puzzled.
"No cook," he says.
Now, I understand. He is saying they are closed for the day and not cooking anymore. I smile and thank the boy and head down the street.
... They really are worth a look. We spent the evening walking around them and the park at their base and as the night came we watched the towers light up and enjoyed the fountain light show. It was nice and relaxing which is what we needed.The next day we packed up again and headed off to a place called Penang which is a little island off the North West coast of Malaysia. We again got lost using the metro and realised that the 40min journey on the metro was actually just ...

The Suite was definitely much better than the other room, spacious and no musty smell. After shower, we sat on the sofa to relax and watch tv. The movie "Armageddon" was on one of the channels, we sat and watched it till the end although we were very sleepy.
I can’t remember if we talked or anything because as soon as we laid our heads on the pillow, we knocked out. Our roadtrip ends ...
... get home. Not a spare seat, one girl even had to stand.
We arrive Kota, I quickly scout and get us tickets for that night to Penang. We catch a taxi to a different bus station, grab some dinner and board the big comfy bus and we are away, 10pm.
First half of the bus ride was CRAZY!!! The driver was overtaking on bends, breaking suddenly and the roads were very windy. Neither of us slept well. Then ...
