... crazy built up city skyline. Just before we Hit the campsite, we pass the welcome to Italy sign - **** that wasn't planned haha! Met with another completo - but with a smile followed by 'wait we might have a spot you can fit...' We end up in the campervan carpark. Against a fence, so we managed to get the awning and tent - expensive as hell but who cares - we are out of the traffic for now! Campsite - carpark and pay ...

... top" rich, but at the same time some rather scruffy people. My favourite part was of course being able to see the prep up to race day and meeting an awesome guy from Switzerland... More details will follow, I think. Joe, the chef and I started bonding; which is good for us to work together. The galley is so small, and we really need to understand each other's space.

... out on the verandah of a restaurant overlooking the valley and towards the sea. We shared their 'Plats du jour' of 'soupe de poissons Provencale' (fish soup) & lasagne. It was lovely.
