... and also is a friend of Shelleys, so they added a third serving of the amuse bouche and cookies. My main was heavenly...the white tuna, which is a local fish and must be a relative tuna. The waiter walked around the restaurant showing everyone the fish...didn't look like tuna. My fish was thinly sliced, very pink in the middle, laid on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with green beans and a lovely ...

... a 230 euro iron day bed, this took some effort as it was perfect! Even folded up for transport or storage. I could just picture it in my backyard or spare room, all lined with big soft pillows made from random girly fabrics calling to me to lay on it and read about exotic places I may visit someday. Sigh....... It was so easy to believe that all the items had rich, romantic histories behind them. There were some old thick linen dresses and shirts, one looked like a wedding ...

... of Fragonards works and a costume museum which houses Helen Fuchs’ the wife of Eugene Fuchs (owner of the perfumerie) wardrobe and jewellery, which we visited before boarding the train and heading back to the coast to Cannes. This was the French version of Monaco.

With a sunny afternoon free to roam around the city, we considered stopping in to watch a movie (which seemed appropriate at the centre for cinema) but decided there was more to see than a dark screening room, ...

Managed to settle in so well to holidays that I almost don't have time to write this travel log! Day 4 and only just managing to download photos and put 'pen to paper'.........well sort of!!
