Woke up beach side this morning and had breaky by the shore. Some very dark looking clouds had rolled closer over night and we managed to pack up just in time before the heavy rain hit. Popped up to the restaurant and used a bit of wifi to work out where to next before checking out and hitting the road. The guy still had no idea where we were from as he kept speaking Dutch to me. As I tried to explain 'new Zealand' several times ...

... setting was lovely though with an awesome view of the park. We decided to chill out for the afternoon and go for a walk in the park tomorrow. Very quiet, relaxing day and evening.
The following day we walked into the park from the camp site and walked round the Black Lake. It was a nice spot and not too busy as we did it in the morning. We thought about going rafting here but ...

... to catch on ... But everyone else except us kissed the cross, crossed themselves and ... looked inside.

Back on the open (and straight) road once again we experienced the 'do anything' attitude of the drivers, but it wasn't long before we were forced to a stop with a puncture. ... the peaks!!

So we took one footpath off the tracks which we gathered was heading in the right direction and began our ascent! Up we climbed through some lovely forests until we had come round the side of the peaks. There we continued along the footpath but with the peaks to our right they just looked so close and surely not that hard to climb...

We left the main footpath as it seemed to be going around rather than up, ...

Back at Podgorica bus station, we discovered that there was no direct bus into Albania from here. Our plan therefore was to go to the town of Ulcinj on the Montenegrin coast, before getting the border bus to the town of Shkodër, then catching a mini bus to the capital, Tirana!

Back at the usual hostel, we ordered a takeaway pizza and bought some supplies for the long 3-bus journey to Tirana, then just relaxed in hostel before calling it a day.
