    ... but the train was full and only 1st class seats available which cost us €60 each - ouch! To add insult to injury our seats - 8a and 8b - we're actually in separate coaches, so we couldn't sit together until much later in the journey when the woman next to me got off the train.     ... range into the next, with the last of the snow still clinging to the highest peaks. These dramatic ranges were broken from time to time by large plains and arid stretches of landscape.     ... right on top of the hostel we needed to find. Many Russian thank you's were in order! The next problem was that we were in front of this hostel, behind police barriers, and the taxi couldn't possibly be here due to the road blocks. Suddenly a rotund man was waving at us from behind the far road block, and so our taxi driver had found his lost tourists. We paid our taxi driver ahead of time this time to avoid a repeat of the last scam, got in the car and off we set. We ...
