We had a dinner party last night, the vino was flowing the food was consumed and it was nonstop laughing with the Italian friends of Sue and the two southern kiwi girls from Dunedin & Clyde staying through the www.workaway.com programme. The Italians really know how to laugh and live in the moment, no serious topics discussed it was all stupid stuff and teasing each other.

As the train crosses what now is an imaginary border into Italy from France things appear different, there seems to be more chaos, less order - Bonjourno welcome to Italy – some people only think of Pizza & Pasta the food of Italy – there is so much more, food is the way of life, its regional, Italians will argue that even their village makes a certain dish in the most perfect way and will look down on another method!!
Great seaside village would have lots to offer if staying for awhile. Just one night. Arrived 12.30 had lunch walked the Main Street, waited in beach girls the rain yo stop and walked back for nonno nap. Accomadation at Albergo La Pineta, is good, nice room, staff and great views. There is a bike path that runs along the coast on an old train line so we got the bikes off Sven for our first ride since Pamplona on my birthday. It's been too long.
