      So we arrived at the campsite at Imperia with another problem with the Alarm Siren Sounding and the Engine Immobiliser kicking in... We now have 3 problems still to sort out, the Fiat Speedometer, Kitchen Tap and the Alarm..! Claim with Amex being processed for the Water Diesel and the repair from the Fiat Dealer to flush the system and just to keep everything ticking along also contacted AGIP Service Stations HQ... Can't do any ...

      A few different cats and kittens came to visit in the morning. It seems that the village is slowly being overrun to the point where I am sure there are more cats than people.

      ... Lots of tourists but it still has a charm with its narrow streets and view down to the ocean. Dropped into Vence on our way through to Menton.

      Menton was our final destination. It is a scaled down version of Nice with lots of people in the sunshine sunbaking on the stony beach and lots of grand hotels. Enjoyed dinner on the esplanade looking out over the turquoise blue ...

      ... The ball ricocheted off windows and door frames and it was difficult to work out the rules but it was fascinating. There were many older people watching and there were referees and linesman and lots of animated discussion over disputed calls.

      Explored the village of Triora, a 15 minute drive away. It is 'famous' for being the witchcraft
      village. In 1589 there was a famine and women were rounded up and tortured and compelled
      to confess unnamable guilts and to denounce friends and relatives.
