... in Siena...all made in China, but worth a wander....could not believe the number of stalls until we saw them from above on the hill.
The Old Town was worth a visit especially to the churches & the Crypt (1600's). I was a little disillusioned with the lack of attention, but Ventimiglia (or Ventimille depending on which country you are in) has changed ownership as the border has moved back ...

The train trip along the coast took about forty mins to get to the first town on the other side of the Italian border. Actually M ticked off two countries today. The first being Monaco, however the train passes through a long tunnel, right under the city, and you cannot see anything!

Packing and saying goodbyes, Lyndsay cooked us a frattata for breakfast and then Meyrick man dropped us to the bus stop in the Kangoo. We took the bus to St Tropez and then a bus from St Tropez to Saint Raphael which was a really nice seaside resort. We then took a train to Nice and decided to wander around the city for a couple of hours...massive high street with shops either side and Notre Dame in the middle.
