Another quiet sort of a day we got up and ate our breakfast around 8 ready for our hike at 9. We caught a train first, then took a funicular (which is like a tram that goes up the side of a mountain) further up the hill to where we started our hike. It started off nice and easy and stayed not to bad, it was a really great walk up though the mountains. And even though it ...

Not to much to report today. We had a nice sleep in this morning after a relatively late night last night. 'Did you hear what the Australian said to the Swedish?' ...

We took a private bus to the beginning of the walk. After a hair rising trip to the beginning of the hike we arrived to find what we expected to be a leisurely stroll, was to be accompanied by thousands of other hikers. Quite amazing given it was mid week and supposedly outside travel season. The hike was pleasant and ...

... myself for years until we went back and I found it again and bought it. So, I now own a pair of stylish leather boots that I will wear with a warm reminder of this day in Zakopane, Poland. Mike did go back to buy some shoes made by his name- sake, well - minus the "t". Packing up again to catch a ride to Krakow, a flight to Warsaw and to complete our final days of vacation in Poland. Not sure if there is any room in my stomach to persuade me to get ice cream tonight. - Diane
