... s apartment and we were given instructions and rules about the dorms. After that we headed towards HEIG-VD to attend classes. We had to take a train from Renes to Yverdon-les-Bains. It was about 40 min journey. And the view from the window of the train was beautiful. We all wanted to sit in the window seat and enjoy the nature!! Now, talking about the view from the train, I could see a vast area of green colored plain land surrounded by the hills ...

... different department of WHO who wanted to see Winnie's pictures from Sierra Leone that she could use for training. The pictures Winnie took are amazing, and so are the stories that accompany them. She was there for 3 months, and she told us all about the reaction of the public, how they trained local medical officials to set up clinics, "green" vs "red" zone procedures, and survivor stories. It was so interesting to see, and I am so grateful ...

It is my second day in Switzerland, but I feel I still have to bring closure on my month walking through France. I won't detain you long.

I've only been to Switzerland once before on one of those Contiki tours so I sort of knew what to expect but then I was a little surprised when all the signs were in French - I can bumble my way through German (as you would expect) but not French.
