Three countries in one day!

... schnitzel that was again disappointing. Funny how you travel to their origin and they are just not the same as Newcastle's schnitzels. We have told everyone they need to come and have one of ours! And then a mousse to finish. We have an incredibly long and early day tomorrow to get to Venice so we are all going to bed pretty early. Today was a bit of a short day but we still did a fair bit. 3 countries in 1 day is not too bad!! Good night all and will talk tomorrow ...

Unlike previous markets this was more social than saleable with only a few stalls of gifts and decorations among a number of ones selling food and wine, getting a hot cup of wine we found a seat by a roaring brazier and watched all the locals laughing and talking, wines finished and feeling ...

... and a half tour. We were in a group with about 40 Americans on a tour. The guide was very good, and the castle was magnificent. Much nicer and more opulent than Versailles. Never finished and hardly lived in, but just amazingly over the top. Grabbed a lovely sache torte from the cafe. Ignored the horse and carriages, and walked back down the mountain, and caught the bus back to Fussen.

Back to our hostel to pick up the gear, then lunch at Nordsee say before ...
