Today we headed out to explore Krk Island which has one. of the longest bridges at 1.4kms connecting it to the mainland. Seeing the effects of wars that happened decades ago is one thing, but seeing such recent evidence is chilling. That night was a bit weird though. I head back to the room at 9.30 only to find the two french girls asleep already. I tip toe around and get ready for my early departure. During the night, three further people arrive, one with a bike in the room and then two of them go really early. By 6am, I give up on trying to sleep and head off for Zagreb.
