      ... back here again. On the other side we didn't go up the cable car because I'm not great on heights so after a picnic sitting at the other end of the lake we got the boat back again. However I was really pleased with our decision that we'd seen enough of Tokyo in a single day and we should come out and try and see Mount Fuji. We'd been on a Shinkansen, a local bus for an hour past picturesque scenery and had a boat cruise on a lake and seen Mt Fuji apparently floating above ...

      ... frame the entire valley of Ito and below us a small creak meandered around on its way to the ocean, a mere two minute walk from our room. I think at that point we had already entered paradise, but then a band started playing live music from a stage out on the river and it just got better from there.

      Since i was in no hurry and the next two days were planned as resting days i set the alarm for 8am and left the hostel at 9. My destination for today was Ito-Onsen but i had a small stopover in Nagoya because i wanted to see the railway museum there. It took a little over an hour to get to Nagoya and then another 24 minutes to get to the railway museum. I used the travel time to get some work on my blog done.
