After I arrived at Narita International Airport at 23:00, I stayed overnight in a couch of the airport. On the next day, I headed for Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. The temple is famous and popular among Japanese and I was eager to go some day. When I arrived at the temple, there were only few visitors in the temple. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but I enjoyed strolling in their quiet garden behind the temple ...

Hopefully we get to see a little of Tokyo by night on this ...

One more 6.5 hour flight to go and I will have finally made it to Bangkok, I can't wait!

Running like a Gaijin

A travel blog entry by little-general on Aug 15, 2012

... is also the small detail that once you get through customs you are still hours from your final destination.

So..after the stupidly busy month, the crazy weekend and a chock full flight with screaming children not only did we RUN like gaijin through the airport, we claimed our luggage and ran to the train station and made our train with 5 mins to spare. Only then did either of us even start to think about ...
