... to decide if I want to go down to dinner or just call it a night. I just received a phone call telling me that I need to be down at the front desk by 4:30 in the morning to catch the shuttle to the ship!!!!! Are they kidding me? The ship is about 45 minutes away and so I'm looking forward to the drive through the countryside. As they say in Japan....good night and ...

So we got off the plane and went to immigration. And the guy said my name right!!!! And he asked where I went in Japan and told me Welcome Back. He was nice. After, we went an got our bags. Mine took forever to find so we were already running a little late. The line for customs was soooo long. It took 10 minutes just to go through that. Adryan, Jack, Carlene and I went in the slowest line and so everyone else was way ahead of us. We still had a ...

... t eaten in 10 hours. Whats worse is that they didn't serve food until 2 hours in and it wasn't even good food. Eat before security. I slept about 5 hours on the flight over. At the end of the flight, as the sun was setting over Japan, it was possible to see ...

A quick update from the lounge in Narita before wehead on to Hong Kong! Katie celebrated her birthday on the plane with a Praire Girl cupcake and choice of three unique experiences in different cities along our itinerary. No trip to Japan would be complete without some unique tech and bad translation. We found both in under a minute in the washroom - fancy Toto machines complete with sprays, depderizers and seat heating. Bye for ...

For the longest flight

I lucked out. I made it onto the flight from Atlanta to Narita, sitting business class none the less. The flight was very long to the tune of 12 hours, but nothing a few good movies and some Advil PM can't handle. I'm sitting right now in the Narita Airport, waiting on my flight to Bangkok. I'm a little bummed the flight isn't later so i could meander down the streets in Japan. Oh well, I'll be in Bangkok before too long.
