... own bathrooms. It was just such a gorgeous place and view from every angle. Out hostess could speak English reasonably well and was so welcoming. They lived in half the house and had built 4 rooms to rent. They had an excellent kitchen downstairs we could use and she said she was providing breakfast. Tower 1 had an exhibition about Da Vinci and the Mona Lisa in Italian, but it seemed to link the painting to Leonardo's stay in the most serene republic. Da Vinci seems to keep popping up on our trip. We are being stalked by a Rennaissance genius. Did he ever visit Sydney?

... We stopped at a little village mid-afternoon to get some food. The food shop was actually a dolci shop which had some amazing desserts - marzipan-y chocolatey walnutty...yum.
