Hey! Welcome back! This is just a bit about my weekend :) On Saturday a few of us (some friends from school) all went to Universal Studios Japan! We had a 5.30am start and caught a couple of trains. It was a little busy with the longest wait at 150 minutes! It also rained right as we were going on Jurassic park, which is the wettest ride, and got soaked through. However it was still fun and we watched the parade at the end of the night. On Sunday it was reaaally ...

Doors close for the flight to the goldcoast there's a spare seat beside us, fantastic! This is how it's supposed to go. Cabin crews arm door and cross hang on... let's open the plane door and let the fat guy with pungent BO in. You can sense when something is too good to be true. After lunch I explored Kyoto a little. The Kyoto app I'd downloaded mentioned mainly temples, and I wasn't really up for more of those, especially as the route I'd taken to the hostel took me wrongly past the Kosho-Ji temple and when I retraced I found the right one, Higashi-Hongannji, but as I wandered the streets North of ...

Day 12 - Between the devil and the deep blue sea

... the bags can be delivered at a set time, e.g. before noon or 12-2pm etc. So there never was an issue i just had to wait :P

After a swift turn around i headed out to my first stop of the day, Osaka Castle. Another giant castle building in some large grounds, it's got a number of gold decorations of the outside which look very ostentatious. Unlike pretty much every other castle I've been to however, the interior was actually completely modernised, with ...
