    Another amazing day, stifling hot yet again,spent morning in Sorrento with time on our own after tour of factory which hand makes wooden furniture with lace work or paintings lacquered over on tops. Very expensive but what isn't that's hand made. The drive from Naples was on narrow winding road on side of cliffs. Hair raising when you sitting looking straight down at the sea around ...

    ... Most of those stairs ended just below the water level so you could get your feet wet, but then had to commit to a much larger drop off to actually go further. After a few tries with different stairs, I helped him to find a small pebble beach, where he could more easily get to the water, and he spent a little time splashing and watch the crabs that were plentiful at the water's edge.     ... away (and farther downhill) then necessary because we didn't do our homework and tried to be spontaneous. We did one of these alpine slides ('bobsled' is the popular operator in Hungary) near Visegrád in the hills north of Budapest and had fun, this one was a little steeper and involved a ride up on the ski lift, but I think everyone who tried it had fun. Then it was onwards to the castle.

    ... off to find a restaurant and eventually settled on Japanese, of all things! The food was plentiful and excellent. Best meal I've had in quite a while! After dinner we walked down to what is billed as "the largest town square in Europe ". Admittedly it's pretty big. Very impressive! Lit up of an evening it looks fabulous.
