    ... ticket for the next bus to the mall, which is coming at near 1 hour's time. We wanted to have more time to shop, so we dragged our luggages for quite a distance to ask for the price of taxi fare from the Firenze smn station to the mall. It's freaking 65€ for a one way ticket (before extra baggage charge, dunno what's that even), while the shutter bus is only 10€ for a two way ticket!     ... biased as we have had such a wonderful time, but we think Manarola is the pick of the Cinque Terre (5 Terre) towns. It is delightful, fascinating and not too touristy and has the loveliest restaurants and cafes. Our favourite is Aristide, run by mother and daughter, Elena and Monica.     ... station to explore the next town. I decided after the hike, I would start at the last town and make my way back to Monterosso meaning that the next stop was Riomaggiore. I also committed to finding a place to have a sandwich and water to fuel the rest of my day.     ... the place - got sorted and Jol has scraped his new paint job we found busy and kel surprise friendly and had nice meals of 'Tourist menu’ of fish and Spag bol and ice cream for the nervous passenger….well it is my comfort food!

    ... wanted to sleep. Once in Venice we found our accommodation really easily. I was stoked to find "Nicola" the "woman" I had been emailing was actually "NEEEEcola" - a gorgeous Italian man. Our accommodation overlooked the main lagoon in Venice so we didn't venture far that night, just as well because we were both pretty shattered.
