    ... region of Liguria (northern Italy). It is one of the five villages in Cinque Terre. The town is divided into two distinct parts: the old town and the new town. The two areas are divided by a single tunnel that caters to pedestrians and the very few cars in the town.



    Note: At the entrance to the tunnel, street artists play some wonderful music that echos all the way through the tunnel.

    ... thought we had finally accounted someone who WANTED to help. How wrong we were. In Italy, if it's too good to be true it is, no one helps you without a motive. And to too it off the train we were on was not the right one. Some funny bugger had put the wrong train platforms on the signs. But it was going to Pisa but just a little later than usual. Once in Pisa we changed trains not without more hassle. Up and down weird elevators that are super slow onto the right platform ...

    ... the place - got sorted and Jol has scraped his new paint job we found busy and kel surprise friendly and had nice meals of 'Tourist menu’ of fish and Spag bol and ice cream for the nervous passenger….well it is my comfort food!

    Yesterday, we had our last day in Rome. I like Rome - yes, it's frantic and crowded, kind of like New York but less organized and in Italian. we went to the Borghese Galleria in the morning, and what a fabulous place it is.
