        ... of the road. No mistake and seriously the village is so tidy I assume they want to keep it that way without the "Camino graffiti". Yesterday being some sort of holiday there are old fashioned street sweepers out. Yes! I mean men with brooms and buckets cleaning up the mess from yesterday. No mechanical sweeper here.         ... often ostentatious and simply beautifully stunning. I'm sure you could eat off the floors they are so spic and span. Tiled floors, walls and ceilings, beautiful urns, carved doors, stained glass, living plants. Some you can see through to outdoor areas - they are hidden beauty extrema!

        ... rise from blackness (new). Bonus was seeing the neat brown slugs (new) all over the road leaving their sticky trails fro someone to run over or step on later. Love the big slugs here.

        All trotting along nicely and then the headlights pick up some serious water over the road. Hmmmm my shoes are gortex lined but my buddies aren't.         Rest day. Only 14km to todays village and stop point. In by 10:30 and the rest of the day is ours. Can see a castle on the hill that definitely warrants inspection. Check out the view from my bedroom window tonight.
