      ... trecking the El Camino (route from Seville to Santiago) which passes by his front door was Canadian which he helped. A sweet and honorable man determined to carry on his families tradition. He took over the Villa several years ago as it was falling into disrepair and has done an amazing job. His staff are his extended family and they treat you like their own. We highly recommend staying with Paco as this historical site.

      ... a 38 km bike ride along an old disused railway track. It was 19 km ALL uphill to a limestone mountain range and it's old iron mine, but then a 19 km easy ride down hill - three hrs up, one & a half back. Went through some quite nice countryside. Now we (R & R) are knackered, sitting around our nice open fire, enjoying a great local vino tinto ...

      ... which meant we were entering Extremadura, home of so they say, the best food in Spain, and as our first town was to be Monastario in 20Ks time, which also every year has a Jamon (ham) festival, who was I to argue !!!

      After 15Ks, we started the hills, so I burned off ahead and took photos as they made their way up. And then we had a short ride into town for Jamon heaven !!!

      Now the thing is, realistically we wanted to get away early and hit the road, but last night, the Cathedral was closed so we never picked up our first stamp, and as it did not open till 08:000, we knew we would be in for a late start

      ... Going from peg to peg in the corners it's awesome......

      Suspect me chicken strips aren't too wide! For those not in the know... If you don't go fast on a corner and don't need to lean the wear pattern of the tire is in the middle..... The more you lean the skinnier the distance of the edge of the non wear to the edge of the tire.....when I looked I was about a mil from the edge.... Lol not much of a chicken strip LOL. RT's are meant to lean in mountain passes ...
