... local bars last night so they were home at 1.30 am, with the others all getting back at 4 am and even some of the chicks getting back at sunrise! That's dedication lol. There was a break in the weather - but it was very short lived!! We were getting soaked walking down to the shops, so we bought an umbrella and did a little shopping. Saw a couple from our tour and had a coffee with them out of the pouring rain (by this time it ...

Behind on my entries. Earlier this week on Monday, I took a day trip to the island of Pag for some sightseeing and more swimming and tanning. As we left the island we drove down to a bay to look back up at the bridge that is the only access to Krk. Its actually tow bridges with a small ...

Burial mounds have been found here and also remains of fires and food storage areas. Now for the trek down the steps. Easier than going up. Once down we cross the river on a small bridge and walk back down the other side. Its a very pretty walk and worth the ...

    ... calamari.

With time up on the meter we got back on the road and soon picked up signs for Zadar – we were doing well! So well in fact, Ness had to arrange for a new section of the map to be on view and attempt to fold away the old section. Not an easy task with the numerous creases and folds in these old maps! As Basil increased his speed on the highway and the fuel gauge started to fall we arrived at another ...
