We ate our customary breakfast of yogurt and granola and packed a bag for our boat tour that day. We met our guide Neno near our apartment and hopped into his boat. Our first stop was a tunnel built by the Yugoslavian army which housed submarines. We learned that the island of Vis was a military base for many years and was just opened to ...

The quality and size of the boats in the harbour and the number of people around was quite impressive.  It is a bit flashier than the other towns and I didn't like it as much for this reason. We had to park the kapetan Jure about 67 boats out from the promenade which meant we had to walk through 6 boats to get to the shore. We've done this before but only 3 or so boats out.  It was very interesting with a Spanish Fort sitting up on the hill looking down ...
