... ancient process, very similar to the one the Chinese used when they first invented paper.

Next, we had lunch at a nice little restraunt on top of the Hill of the Cross. The hill overlooks Holguin, and is famous for a large white cross that sits near the top of it. The original cross was placed up there in 1790 by a Franciscan friar, and ever since, it and its successors have been viewed by the locals as a source of good luck ...

Across from the school was this lady who is 95 years old house in which she showed us through her house and they way she lived! Very eye opening I must say!! The last day we sailed catamaran, after which we packed our bags to go home. ...

... 10Cuc (he paid the driver, so I don't know how much of the 20CUC was for him!) Bloody Cuban guy, I hate you, you are a shame for your people !

These were the first and probably last experiences with corruption for me. The lesson : don't do it, even if it is comfortable for you. It just ***** some people. There is a reason why the Cubans are so incredibly greedy and not able to have a normal relation with a foreigner. It is because tourist give them money for free !

... very good weather". Uh, excuse me?
Try hanging out in Halifax in late March and I'll tell you what it's like not having good weather!

So, back to the boat. It was a little tricky trying to find flippers that fit but we all got outfitted and took a boatride about 20 mins. out onto the water. The boat has of course a glass bottom. Without noticing there appeared a man under the glass. He broke open a sea urchin ...
