... pleasant. we cooked tea before boarding the ferry, this ferry is older than the one we arrived on and our cabin, an inside one isn't as comfortable, I find it a little claustrophobic and although we turned the ventilation up the temperature wouldn't drop below 27 degrees, may be were sleeping over the engine room where the men are stoking the fires!! The ferry set sail on time and we went to bed in our hard beds, as it's an early start, we dock in Piraeus at 6.00 ...

The gates were open but there wasn't anyone there, however the water was on and the chemical toilet waste was accessible, so we used their facilities (thank you) and then left and parked at the end of the road for the night outside a closed taverna. At one of our photo stops we met a couple from Argentina, they had left their camper on the main land and had hired a car to tour Crete. They took some photos of Dream Catcher and said they really liked it.
We dropped down to Sougia an undeveloped resort with a waterfront promenade lined with many tavernas. It is of ...

After a very stormy night with thunder endlessly rattling around the mountains we awoke to continuing wind and rain. We hadn't set the alarm so we had a late start. House keeping did some washing as there is somewhere undercover to hang it and with this wind it should dry. Next we took advantage of the free wifi and caught up with new year messages and the blog, we sat inside the cafe and chatted to the German man who has a camper parked here. He comes here with ...
