... look. As we parked an old man aged 86 came to greet us, he spoke very good English and seemed genuinely pleased to meet us. The cemetery was quite large, it was very noticeable that a good percentage of the graves were for 'Unknown Soldier' very sad. We still had a few hours to kill so we walked around Souda, a run down sort of place with a quay side factory that makes animal feed from grain, it gives off a strange smell, a toasted grainy alcoholic smell, it's ...

It's another beautiful day, we exercised Logan on the beach before driving to Chania. The route we took was over the hill back to Almyrios, we really like this area. ... filled with people, most locals eat around two o'clock. It was around 4.00 when we got back, Les had a snooze, lunch time drinking! Whilst I read my book. As it went dark we walked Logan, it was so nice and mild we walked back into town, it's the first time we have been out in the evening in ages, we are often parked outside towns and villages, about an hour later we arrived back and made a sandwich for a late tea before sorting out ...

At one of our photo stops we met a couple from Argentina, they had left their camper on the main land and had hired a car to tour Crete. They took some photos of Dream Catcher and said they really liked it.
We dropped down to Sougia an undeveloped resort with a waterfront promenade lined with many tavernas. It is of ...
