... I had to try another Bruges beer before we left. A big glass case filled the left-hand side wall leading up to the bar and the signs indicated every beer was available. There were hundreds of them. I found a raspberry beer I thought sounded nice and went up to order it, only to be told I could have cherry beer, which was on tap, but not raspberry. Six beers were on tap and that's all that was available. Talk about false advertising! Not being a fan ...

We landed in Ghent, but the excursion today was to Bruges, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bruges is wonderful. Now Jean feels like she has been to Europe.
