... lunch, I decided to head to De Halve Moon Brewery for a tour. The next one didn't start until 3 pm, so I decided to walk toward the 'Lake of Love.' It was lovely with the swans and ducks. At least I think that is what it was. The tour was also interesting. This brewery is the only one in the center of Brugge and was built In the 1860s. They brew about 30,000 liters per day, and brew 4 kinds of beer. The first room we saw contained the vessels. This is a new area, and then ...

We went into the little guesthouse and had drinks and some amazing battered/fried apple things! We ended up causing Kristi to miss her train that would have got her back in time for curfew because they usually run ever hour, but after a certain time it changes to every 2 hours- which we failed to note. But all was well, and we made it home safe ...

Three Great Days

... most of us did. You see, I had ordered a Shirley Temple and my drink came without a straw. So what I got was a sprite and a straight shot of grenadine. Nasty. For lunch we found a market in town. Super cheap and WAY better than restaurant food. So that was that day. The next day was a whopper. In the morning, we went to the canal and got a boat tour of the city of Brugge, if you could call it a city. I won't say much about the boat tour because while our captain was good, he was no ...
