... We head back along the road to Sarande. Artan wants to show me an old monastery but when we arrive the gates are locked. We are held up by a flock of sheep and goats being herded along the road by a lady. I snap a few pics but Artan is not impressed.

Another part of Greece. It is all so beautiful. At night there is an acrobatic show, the men doing the acrobats are soooooooo strong, they're like 5 times stronger than an Olympian. Until very recently, Albania was notoriously lacking in tourist infrastructure. It was aggressively isolationistic. It has only improved very recently, and was named one of Lonely Planet's Top 10 Places to Visit in 2011. That said, it is still remarkably difficult to get from here to there, and again I failed to adequately research getting from Ohrid to Sarandė because they are relatively close on the map.
