Hotel Inoe Athens

... Climbs are just not part of it right now. Last week, the steep climbs took us to fantastic vantage points and new places. Today, it was just more of the same landscape and getting closer to big cities. Never my favourite thing.

But on the up side, we found a place to eat. I think it was actually closed, but there were people setting up for a large wedding reception that evening and they let us in. We had an amazing lunch with more food ...

... I got stuck next to this little old couple but I think i slept most of the time anyway.

Now just sitting at Athens with a girl from Melbourne, Anna, who is going to Mykonos to Surprise her Fiance. How cute!

Feeling ok but am ready for a big sleep. We are about to jump onto a little plane for 35mins to the islands ( a tad freaking out)

... humans. It was specifically built there to
withstand earthquakes, which I hear are very common here (about once a
month). Our tour guide said she was here a few weeks ago with another
group, and her dad called her on the cell saying "are you ok? did you
feel the earthquake?!" and she told him that none of her group or
herself even felt it up there. Over the various occupations of the
Parthenon, it was turned into a Christian Church ...
