... tours and was amazed by all of the thought that went into, and continues to go into, the creation of this masterpiece which is not even a finished product although construction began in the 1880s. After La Sagrada Familia we tried to go and see Park Guell which has more of Goudi's famous mosaic works throughout a park landscape. ... we must go to ticket box number 2. Yesterday we were let straight through. At the ticket box we were told that we had paid for a special pass, emotion pass, that entitled us to preferential seating, avoiding queues and a 10% discount in some stores. We wish someone had mentioned this yesterday. We also collected an audio unit to tell us in English what was happening in some of the shows. ... your back is turned!! There appear to be hundreds of staff in red and white T-shirts providing information and getting people into and out of venues, as well as the hundreds/thousands of actors performing in the shows. There must also be many, many more caring for or training the animals, cleaning the areas, behind the scene workers - it really is a huge operation.

... trucks were having a break. Only one toll ticket for 3.5 hours and as we got near Nantes we came off to go to the lovely town of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu we had to pay €51.50 for our days work.
The drive North was ever changing because very soon we had left the vineyards behind and soon encountered huge fields of barley many already cut and straw baled and removed more with combine harvester parked up ready to roll.
