... Ancenis where we have a lovely room in a very old home. Loved the welcoming espresso and madeleines! Although our cycle was mostly flat we challenged ourselves with a steep climb up to a village with a great outlook over the valley! A perfect picnic spot! Oh yes -- Werner did indeed score his new poster here from a little bar, once again after many smiles and gestures:)

Thanks to Cora we arrived at YVR in good time with our carefully weighed bike boxes! On inspection an agent informed us that we owed $450 extra as Werner's box was over the 23 kg allowed (but less than 32 kg which we had determined would cost an extra $150). best of all, I got to keep the ball that he had been throwing for me.
