Itīs been 4 months since my last blog...time for an update I say.



Manchester, Cardiff, Oxford and London...1 1/2 weeks, 4 stops, 2 lovely catch ups. We left about 11.15 am today and it was 6 degrees! As we went the sun came out but it was still cold. However at about 6.00 pm it was 9 degrees. It was sun from time to time. On our way we stopped at a wine/cognac shop which was interesting but without knowledge of wine, we did not know what to buy! We bought a cake. We arrive here at about midday. Our hotel took us back in time to the 70's in a bad way. Great size room but could definitely have done with some modernisation. The best part of this hotel was we had a TV in our room that showed Friends in English! Each evening we would watch two episodes before heading out for dinner.
