After our break we walked along 34th street and caught the F train to Roosevelt Island. Along the way we passed the massive crowds outside Macy's.

Slept in, packed & went out for a final walk around the area, finally finding the NYU shop for Fray before flying back to the hotel in time for our noon checkout. This was the highlight of the day for Shannon as this was the building that the men sat on the scaffolding eating their lunch with no ropes or anything to hold them during the construction of the Rockefeller tower. Shannon did the black and white puzzle years ago and has always loved the tower. We were so tired after the tour we decided to head back to the hotel, As tomorrow is another big day I'm going SHOPPING bring on Macy's, Tiffany's and everything in ...

... And drive we did today..... We stopped in southern Maine at a Wendy's for lunch, a rest area in Connecticut for dinner, the edge of New York for fuel, and a Walmart in New Jersey for the night. Tommy drove over 500 miles today to get us to the other side of New York City to avoid the early morning traffic. It's after eleven and we are exhausted! Tomorrow we will explore ...
