We had our final breakfast in the USA before string about the onerous task of packing everything - including all the souvenirs and other shopping we have done. We managed to fit it all in using only one extra bag, which was a relief. Of course, the weather was perfect yet again, so we checked out around lunchtime and headed to the Westfield Santa Ana Mall, hoping to occupy our time until we had to catch out flight at 11.40 pm! We did ...
... Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh, The Haunted Mansion, Disneyland Railroad, Splash Mountain and Mickey's Soundsational Parade. We finally left at about 7:45 in a state of near exhaustion. We were battered but not defeated. There were some tears today over Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. These subsided quickly, almost instantly on one occasion. Space Mountain was a biggy. The kids really had no idea ...
Today we explored the Disneyland park.

But, still the atmosphere is pretty spectacular.
... Theatre district and lots more. I was pleased that we could get off for a while and do some shopping and see a few areas for ourselves. The kids were great considering if was a six hour tour. After the tour had ended we jumped straight into the hotel pool and cooled off then got ready for dinner at the Thunder Ranch BBQ in Disneyland. No stopping us ...
... also visit the Disney Dream Suite. Both were amazing!
In the afternoon we had time to ride Star Tours twice, the first time I was selected as the rebel spy. We also got to ride Big Thunder Mountain, Autopia, Innoventions, Pirates of the Carribbean and Buzz Light Year. We had a nice dinner at Blue Bayou which overlooks the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. At night we had reserved seating for both the parade and fireworks. Both were excellent!
