... Potter ride in the single riders queue. The queue was meant to be 55 minutes but we were on the ride in 10 and we ended up getting to sit together anyway. We also went back on the minions ride and some more 3D rides. I have to say, considering how much Wills hates roller coasters he did amazingly well at Universal, he conquered many rides and discovered a new love of the Minions.

The adventure has certainly begun. I am currently on hour 30
of travel with over 6 left to go before I get on the 8 hour flight to the
14,000 foot airport of La Paz. I was trying to prepare for the high altitude by
drinking lots of water, and rest; which rest has clearly been impossible.
Hopefully all the talk about high altitude sickness is really no big deal.

... boarding pass and went through security. Once in the concourse, I went straight to the food court. There is a McDonald's there, I could not resist. That was the first time I had eaten at McDonald's in many, many months. It tasted pretty darn good!
From the food court I made it to my gate and ultimately onto the plane. Then it was off to Port of Spain.
We arrived in Miami at 5:00 p.m., EDT. As soon as we walked out of the terminal we felt the warm air and the humidity and it felt great. Miami airport is huge, and finding the rental car center was a challenge. But after a long walk, we arrived at the right spot and picked up our car. The rental car people talked us into getting a FastPass for the toll roads.
