    ... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. I walked out on the beach, but didn't go into the Gulf of Mexico cuz I didn't have my swim suit along. Lots of folks were sunning themselves and just enjoying the good weather ...

    Today is Saturday, October 3rd, so it must be day 13 of my NP tour. Today we spend an hour or so waking through the lost luggage store in Scottsboro, Alabama where Barbara bought a new John Lescroart book for $3, and we got the road for Florida.     ... the birds are singing, we just passed a lollop (Jean says the correct collective noun for Manatees is "aggregation" but I prefer "lollop") of about 14 Manatees (Ken's numbers not mine), the bridges are opening for us, and everything is perfect in Paradise. The Port engine just packed up, but hey, who's being picky?
