... and relaxed. I had been planning on catching a night bus from Kota Bharu down to KL but the latest any left was 9pm which would have meant arriving in KL at 5am which i had no desire to do. I therefore decided i would take the Monday morning bus at 9:30am instead. ... how incredibly awesome this place was. I thought we'd already done some really amazing snorkelling - but this was a whole new level of amazing snorkelling! It felt like being transported directly into Finding Nemo! There were fish absolutely everywhere, thousands of them in glittering shoals surrounding us completely. And the corrals were so colourful and bright.

... he then escorted us to the pier. We were heading to Perhentian Kecil which is the smaller of the two Perhentian islands and has a bigger choice of budget accommodation for backpackers. ... was the next door neighbour but at some point (by then it was maybe 04.00) I heard the mice squeaking. Gladly my alarm clock went off again at 05.30. Time to check all the cables for bites and pack the rest of my stuff very quickly before my backpack got invaded by a bunch of rodents.

By the way the seat in the train was mice-free and very comfy too.
