... When we arrived at the summit it was so thick that we could barely see 20 metres away and it was very chilly. There are a few large buildings at the top, a telecoms tower, a hotel and a museum and there was a signpost in the museum showing that on a clear day you could see some city (I forget the name) 125 kms away and yet today we could not even see these buildings from the train station and it was not until we got quite ...

Besides listing stops the train makes, it also lists connecting trains and their routes. So in reviewing the information, I noted that my train to Quedlinberg had another route number associated with it that left Magdeburg at the same time. I looked at the schedule and noted that both schedules were the same through the first three ...

... Its very picturesque but hard to take photos of. The castle is impressive and sits on top of the hill overlooking the town and all its surrounds. Then after leaving the Castle we drove on through some lovely country, forested ares, rolling hills, lakes and farmland. Stopping near Duderstadt for the night. Out to find a meal. Its very quiet in town tonight, unless there is somewhere with a big screen TV where people can watch Germany place France in the World ...
