240 Ypao Beach Road Tumon, Guam, 96913, (671)-646-3060
We took the overnight bus to Narita and settled into our regular routine: McDs breakfast, snooze and watch CNN in the Cosmos Lounge, watch the planes come and go from the observation deck, shower (uber-bargain at 500 yen!), and slowly shuffle to the gate. We were flying Continental Micronesia, and were given row 5 after finding out that our initial seats weren't together. The row was the first after first class, so lots of legroom, but no moveable armrest. Nice , but not as nice as the emerge...

... neat.. we stayed at about 60 feet for almost an hour and swam through several caverns. The Visibility was pretty nice, maybe 60-70 feet and we saw several anemones and a real neat lionfish. I partnered up with an old Navy guy (late 60s) your never too old... who had also gone on the boat without a partner. Hes done 160 dives since hes been here and knew a lot about the sites so it made both dives more interesting. The second dive was similiar ...
Oceanview, Guam guamblog... camoflauged themselves in the coral. Near the end of the dive and unfortunatly my camera was dead for this one.. I saw a huge white fish maybe 50 feet to the right of me just flying through the water. There were two older gentlemen (probably in their 70s) right next to it and definitly got a better view. I tapped my dive partner, Chris, and he immediately started flying towards it. Apparently everyone realized before I did that this 10 foot fish was one of Guam's rare ...
Oceanview, Guam guamblog... and the mother was a Chamorro whose father was a great chief. They owned land and were held in high esteem by all, Chamorro and Spanish alike. However, the best reason for their great pride and dignity was their beautiful daughter. She was honest, modest; her charm so natural that her beauty impressed everyone around her. One day, a powerful, arrogant Spanish captain came to ask the father for his daughter's hand in marriage. The proud father decided ...
Merizo, Guam guamblogI got off of work about 3pm on Wednesday to finally see some pretty clear skies after a TON of rain the past couple days. Can't let that go to waste! I met up with a buddy, Jeremy ( who had the day off), at the hot-spot ( an airman rec-center and entertainment place ) and we decided to look at a map, grab our bikes, and find a beach. Jeremys an Airtrans guy (loads the planes) and just got stationed here out of Tech School. We filled up backpacks with snorkel gear and found a spot that ...
Lento 16: Narita - Guam Lentoyhtiö: Northwest Airlines Konetyyppi: Boeing 757-200 Lentonumero: NW82 ...
Tumon, Guam travellerhansHe Said: Guam is the furthest you can get from North America and still be in US territory. After spending over nine months out of the US, it was more than a bit surreal to go from Hong Kong last night, then this morning be sitting in a Guam diner eating a hearty breakfast of steak and eggs, surrounded by English speaking staff and patrons, and listing to a soundtrack of "Air Supply" playing on the restaurant stereo! Before I continue, here ...
Tumon, Guam globedecker... The cannon of Fort Agueda served to protect Agana harbor and the lucrative Galleon trade until the Spanish American War when in 1898 when an American frigate entered Agana harbor with guns blazing. Agana was surrendered the next day. Cannon still point out over Agana Bay and Agana from the remnants of Fort Santo Agueda in Agana ...
Agana, Guam joelle... up early, expected to work all day, but realized by noon that most people were off the ship (except for supply! we were there, just in case some kid wanted a toothbrush or a candy bar or a haircut!). When I noticed no one else was around, I decided to go to sleep, and slept right through Thanksgiving meals on the ship... I woke up around 6pm, got into civilian clothes, and went to the pier, where Subway and a Pizza Hut stand were set up, as long as a beer stand (most ...
