... lanes around to find ever more wonderful views, interesting shops eg... guns and rifles in all their glory!! (yep - off the shelf), palace, church and a huge race track where they do trials (we could hear them in the background). It was like a rabbit warren in a way, but going up instead of down.
We went for an early morning walk to see the sunrise the next day. It was magnificent!

As I wrote in the title, I had ...
... Dave is having a lot more success at tanning than me.
So the time has come to move on again. Tomorrow we are getting the morning train to Venice, hopefully giving us the afternoon to look around and have some dinner before getting the night train to Budapest. It will be our first experience of a sleeper train and we have heard mixed reviews. Still, we are both excited and can't wait to get to Hungary... a step closer to Moscow!
Love!

... to check in the morning. Of course morning came and they had one room left but couldn't do it for any lease than 30euros more than the orignally wanted. Son instead of saving 30 we spent an extra 30 - oh well to quote Role Models don't ********* a *********ter...hillarous movie (and only one we've seen in months) by the way. Next day we toured all around Rimini which we expected to be like a jazzed up Miami but actually had a cool historic center and eclectic ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy moore_mattjNo program for the afternoon so we planned our escape to the beach by the pool. Whilst it is difficult to leave the pool adventure is a foot. Cagli was an option but the beach had the greater pull. about a 45 minute drive to Fano. Denis Hieke Mandy & I set off after lunch but the clouds were set to close in on us as we headed towards the coast.
Fano is a topical Italian beach resort town. I have never seen so many beach umbrellas and ...
We left for Urbino after breakfast for a quick trip (Birth place of Raffaello - painter) of course coffee & gelati was part of our plans with some sights thrown in.
Nice place and worth the trip. No time to view the museo a bit of a shame as there is a section with Rafael.
We had some great views going over the mountains going to/from Urbino. Mandy is handling driving the larger car just fine.
Ciao
... The best of all is a large pool to lazy around after Yoga and eating, what a life, the weather was fantastic during the week, high 20's
I think I did too much on the first day of yoga as I couldn't back up on the Tuesday (lucky to get out of bed) but once moving I did both afternoon sessions (playground) breathing in the afternoon and then meditation after dinner.
Wednesday afternoon is free time so we are planning on a trim to the coast Fano

... as the bikes were not fully restored and were housed in a 2 level building on what seemed to be this mans home land. The smell of oil covered the place and we saw some very old bikes including Guzzis. Wayne loved it as the bikes were in original conditions , cleaned but not restored. While we there someone turned up and the man turned him away saying the museum was closed and when he saw us the man said we had a special entry because we were from ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kasnsqueakWe liked Rimini as soon as we set eyes on the beach - it goes on for 9 miles so you can't miss it. It is a proper european holiday resort with a beach front strip of neon hotel signs, restaurants and arcades that seems to have remained off the radar for Brits (but well on radar for Italians, Germans and Russians). Being the end of May, it was still a little subdued so the big nightclubs hadn't fired up and there was ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy jiewu... the Internet I can surf, right in the privacy of my room. That's convenient. Price is almost the same, except Net instead of TV. There's no heat, but that shouldn't matter. Rimini doesn't come alive until summer, you see, so heat's not an issue except in the 'aperto tutto l'anno' places. Many shops and restaurants don't open until summer. It must be zoo-illogical by then. Of course the weather turns cooler the ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy hardiek... back to the bus stop and waited for the next bus that went back to Torriana - an ever so slightly larger town neaby. The bus arrived early, and when I got on I started chatting to the driver about Italy, what I was doing there, how I'd found myself stranded in Montebello that day, all that type of stuff. Anyway, another woman hopped on and started chatting too, and I asked if there was a place to eat in Torriana, as there was nothing in Montebello ...
