After 23 hours awake we had caught a train, two planes and a bus and feel into our bed of a little French hotel close to St Gare railway station. Swiss Air, great service, staff and food, thumbs up beat Lufthansa for friendliness by a country mile. in October 2013, the local council opened the Promenade du Paillon, a beautiful use of a flood drain designed to safely filter snow melt water out to the sea. Some of the highlights of our trip included getting lost in the various neighborhoods, eating lunch on the grass in the park, dancing with the locals, navigating the lockers/trains/buses, and spending time at the small cafes in the sun!
