Nochmals Poebene
Durch die Poebene lässt es sich schnell fahren, aber nicht wirklich genussreich, dafür hat es zu viel Verkehr. Kompensation bieten die Italienischen Städte, z.B. Treivso. In Bassano del Grappa, am Fuss der Berge, finden wir das Hotel Ca'Sette, wo schon Napoleon genächtigt hat. Schöne Zimmer, schöner Park, hervorragendes Essen.

... and the structure of towns from that age. It was small but we had good coffee. The only Problem was that we could not find the bus station to go back home. In the end we just stayed at the one and we were lucky, after 10 minutes there was a bus going to Padova. Yeah traffic in italy works a little differently. We found our way back home, and our bikes were waiting for us at the train-station (miracle).

... white wine, but it also comes in red and prosecco. Later we had knödel and strudel and we saw Ötzi. that was very good. They had a whole exhibition on the fidings and the science and everything. The last floor was the fun floor, where they showed all the letters they got from people trying to tell them that they recognized ötzi to be one of their relatives or something. It was beautiful weather out, and the trip was really nice. ...
No marmite, just rain
Given that the roads around the Northern part of Lake Garda were closed to accommodate the marathon, we didn't find it at all difficult to navigate our way on foot, around to the harbour of Torbole, which is approx 3 km's to the East of Riva del Garda where we were walking yesterday.
The cycle route is clearly marked around round the lake, and can be a little treacherous on blind bends if you choose to head out to the Ponale Hydroelectric power plant which can be found ...
Otzi the Iceman
... place was closed and we couldnt find the other. So there went our plans to bike out to the castle and/or the mountain museum. We decided against the cable car as well as it was a foggy rainy day, and we would only get a lovely view of white, white and more white. So Otzi was the only tourist attraction that earned our tourist dollars today!
