... go, we chose to take a leisurely sache back toward the hauptbahnhof, stopped in the park to relax a bit then check out the Coop for food on our journey back to Speyer. We got another Brezelkönig and waited for the train.

We departed at 6:05 and headed to Mannheim to make our connection to Speyer. Despite the train drivers attempts to break the land speed record, or so it felt, we charged off the train in Mannheim and bolted ...

Had a great night in the skull room at Hotel Sonne, then had breakfast and headed off through more of the Black Forest. Drove through some beautiful scenery to Triberg, where Germany's highest waterfall is. Tomorrow will be another day with our friend the Rhine, and the high hopes of reaching the Konstanz lake by ...

We arrived on site at ...

Keeping the French style theme rolling, we broke the fast with pain au chocolat and croissants, and started our great ride by catching the Eurovelo 6 road to Basel. If you haven't heard about eurovelo, check it out, it's basically a network of bicycle paths going all around Europe, super convenient and a great way to discover the old continent. Exiting Mulhouse, we went along a nice canal, crossing ways with fellow touring cyclists, and enjoying the sunshine ...
