... night at this bar called 520 which were really cool. I told you to look at the menu! The cycling was really funny. We hired a bike each for €6. We wanted quads but when we went into the shop there were these girls that had fallen off because their quad had stopped working so we just thought nooo. We wanted a good route and asked the lady in the shop and she said yes yes go north it's nice. Turns out that going north was essentially all up hill. It was worth it though, we ...

The final bit

At one road junction we came across a Greek man selling fruit from the back of his truck. He came over to the car and was keen to chat with us telling us his wife was from Sydney. He then insisted we go and look at his fruit. He told us he came from six generations of farmers on Naxos.

He kept ...

Paradise beach round 2

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Aug 04, 2014

After 4 hours sleep we managed to make it to the restaurant for brekkie then back to bed for another couple of hours sleep. The plan for today was just chill on the beach and recover from our all nighter. At about midday we dragged ourselves to the beach for swimming and sunbathing. The sun was so intense but it was so good to be able to just roll into the water every time it got too hot. I've missed this! Paradise ...
