We got some gyros and a Greek salad for dinner and spent an evening on the balcony enjoying quality wifi for the first time since we'd left the mainland five days earlier. What I was very interested to learn, however, was that very near to the Temple of Poseidon once stood the Temple of Athena. My tour guide said that when the Roman conquered Greece they decided to bring all of the major architectural works to one place, the Agora on the Acropolis. Imagine that... ancient Mega Movers (for those of you who are History Channel addicts like myself).
