... and the fact that they finished the structures and stadiums on time was a miracle in itself (they were still building 48 hours before the Opening Ceremony). Either way, this was an Olympic Stadium that I was excited to explore. The pictures on the TV that beamed across the world in August of 2004 showed a beautiful picture. So obviously the year a god killed a mythical snake is unknown but it was many years BC that pilgrims travelled here to seek advice from Apollo and to build monuments and things here to thank him for any favours that he was ...

... CJ was brave enough to try the ice fountain. Oh heck no!!! Ice all over Karen's body? I don't think so. Instead, Karen waited in the warm Amethyst Grotto, a steam room filled with eucalyptus scents. We didn't know they could make so many different types of sauna's and steam rooms!! Overall, a great experience which ended in the relaxation room were we passed out! That made for a very relaxing evening after a long long day of walking! Tomorrow, day cruise of three ...
